Punta Cana, Dominican Republic 2026

To celebrate graduating from James Madison University, I traveled to Punta Cana, Domincian Republic.

Beyond enjoying the beautiful scenery and vibrant culture, I appreciated seeing how tourism and hospitality create memorable experiences.

Most importantly, the trip allowed me to celebrate this milestone and create lasting memories with my closest friends.

The program consisted of 30 marketing students. Throughout my study abroad, we explored international businesses firsthand! Including site visits such as; Kiliç Holding Aquaculture, iZFAŞ (Turkey's largest convention organizer), Maxx Royal Bodrum Resort, and many more!

In the summer of 2025, I had the opportunity to study abroad in Greece and Türkiye in a three week program where I took Consumer Behavior and Services Marketing courses. As I took these courses, I was able to apply my new knowledge in real time.

El Salvador

During the summer of 2024, I was able to visit El Salvador with my family. It was an unforgettable experience reconnecting with my cousins and visiting Dolores, the town where my mom grew up. Being in Dolores helped me feel closer to my heritage and appreciate the traditions that has shaped who I am today.

New York

Last year, I was able to celebrate my mom's 50th birthday in New York. I definitely got my steps in during those couple of days.

Favorite Part?

The SUMMIT One Vanderbilt! I am terribly afraid of heights, so going up to the ascent floor was an obstacle I had to overcome, which made the trip even better!
